Refunds

Every code is decoded by machine before it is sent, and checked against the address you typed. If that check fails, the order is stopped and you are not charged.

If something slips past that check and a code doesn't work as described, that's a faulty product and you're entitled to your money back. Email hello@qrforgood.com with your order reference and we'll refund the whole order, including the rest of a bulk pack if you no longer want it.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days.

For most things bought online you get 14 days to change your mind. Digital content delivered immediately is the exception: once you've consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you're giving up the cancellation right, that right ends when delivery starts.

Because your files arrive within seconds of payment, that's what happens here — you'll be asked to confirm it at checkout.

This does not affect your legal rights if something is wrong with what you bought. A code that doesn't work is faulty regardless of what any policy says, and you're covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Being straight with you about the edges:

• A typo in the address you gave us. The code faithfully encodes what you typed. We can't detect that you meant .co.uk and typed .com — but tell us and we'll regenerate it at no charge, which is usually what you actually want.
• A destination that later goes offline. The code still works; the page it points at doesn't. That's outside our control.
• Not liking the design. You can see an exact live preview before you pay, so please use it.
• Printing problems. If a code scans on screen but not off your printed poster, that's usually print size, contrast or ink bleed. Get in touch — we'll help you work out what went wrong, and we'll re-cut the files at a different size for free.

None of that is meant as a wall. It's a £1 product and we are not going to fall out with you over a pound. If your situation isn't on this page, ask.

Discounted charity orders are refunded on exactly the same terms as any other order — at the price you actually paid.
